We had a blast being this years Grand Marshall of the 2017 annual Havendale parade! The fire truck ran out of battery towards the end of the parade, but that didn't stop us thanks to some kind hearted strong men who worked together and pushed us through to the end in style! Cheers and applause all the way to the end! What an amazing community we love you all ❤️

Its a huge Honor to be named the Grand Marshal for tonights annual Havendale Parade! We are so thankful and excited :) Our family has been serving yours for almost 50 years now since 1968 and we have made so many amazing friends. Come visit us tonight and watch the Parade.

A short time after closing tonight, our electric turned on and our grill caught fire. A customer named Carly Swanbeck, had come to get her family dinner hoping we were open. After seeing the fire she called the fire department and the fire was quickly put out with no damage. Had she not been by at that exact moment and had WHFD not responded so quickly, we are positive we wouldn't have a business left standing. With that being said, we would like to thank both Carly and the WHFD for saving our family business, a debt we can not repay! Tomorrow we will be open because of them regular business hours 10am-10:30pm with a FULL menu thanks to one amazing lady and Polk county's finest fire department! Thank you so much for making that phone call Carly, and waiting to make sure the firefighters got there before you left! What a blessing 🙏🏼
